After a successful Stage 2 application and a lot of hard work, the sum of £275,000 was awarded towards the cost of building the new Village Hall.
Finally, after the submission of bids by contractors and some fine-tuning, the Big Lottery gave the go-ahead at the beginning of February 2010 for bulding work to commence.
